Harunonagori

Harunonagori is a mid-late season sencha cultivar developed in Miyazaki Prefecture in 1986 and registered as a variety in 2008. Budding is 4 days later and harvesting 3 days later than Yabukita, with strong resistance to anthracnose and moderate resistance to ring spot disease. Tree vigor is moderately strong with large bush spread, and yield is higher than Yabukita.
