Kirari31 is an early variety with excellent cold resistance, capable of high-yield production of high-quality tea leaves for sencha, kabusecha, and gyokuro. It particularly excels in aroma and liquor color, with higher yield than Yabukita. First tea sprouting is about 4 days earlier and harvesting about 3 days earlier. It has resistance to ring spot disease and shows particularly excellent tea manufacturing quality in color, aroma, and liquor color.
