Makinoharawase

Makinoharawase is an early season variety selected from Kosugi Shozo's seedling tea garden in Kanaya, Shizuoka. It has good taste, high quality first flush, and characteristics of early season with good yield. Tree form is spreading and easy to train. A very early season variety earlier than Yabukita, suitable for coastal warm regions west of Shizuoka Prefecture and also suitable for shaded cultivation.
