
なごみゆたか
Nagomiyutaka is a variety registered in 2012 for pan-fired tea and sencha. The budding period of the first tea is about 3 days later than Yabukita, and the picking period is about 1 day later. The tree shape is somewhat upright, with moderately strong vigor and higher yield than Yabukita. It has a distinctive sweet aroma and is excellent for pan-fired tea. It is rich in theanine, which is said to provide relaxation effects.
