Saeakari

Saeakari is a somewhat early green tea variety developed by crossing Z1 × Saemidori. Its main characteristic is having combined resistance to anthracnose and ring spot disease. Sprouting and harvesting are 4-5 days earlier than Yabukita, with somewhat spreading tree form and strong tree vigor. New shoots are bright green and soft, easy to process, with fresh leaf yield exceeding Yabukita. The aroma is similar to Saemidori, with a steamed sweet potato-like fragrance.
